Mapping the world


There's always something appealing about paper cuts. May be it's because they can't quite decide if they'd like to remain in the realm of graphics or 3D.



Here's Famille Summerbelle's intricate paper cuts of Paris, NYC and London. There's amazing detail in each of them and I love how well balanced the positive and negative spaces are. There's a sense of order in every organized mess that these paper cuts are.




These are some truly amazing works by husband and wife team Julie and Simon for decoration of kids' rooms. For the record I think these paper cuts would be perfect for any home, not just for kids! And here's a link to their blog..
