Back to Black
Marilyn by Simone Williams
I actually love the photography more than the dress. Or may be it's just that look on her face? Anyhow, the chiffon looks gorgeous when it catches the air.

Mr. Jones!
Sure, you can keep up the Jonses with these peculiar watches. Looking like something out of Alice in Wonderland, Mr. Jones watches tells you anything from what Average Joe does through the day, to how short your life actually is. And oh my, I almost forgot! They tell the time too.
Brevity.
Taking a moment to bring you Brevity. Pun unintended! I'm actually taking a break from the terrible stack of notes sitting on my table. Sometimes I secretly think they multiply while I'm away in dreamland.
So here I am, taking a brief break from exam preparations to show you Brevity's gorgeous cutout accessories from the Horo and Geometric series.

Linn Olofsdotter
I'm in love with Swedish illustrator, Linn Olofsdotter's works today. I first spotted her richly decorative work on the cover of Computer Arts (above) a couple of years ago. Decided it was time to look her work up when I found her featured again in this month's edition of IdN mag.
I especially enjoy the way she has integrated her work with fashion. The illustrated fashion spread below was done for Australian retailer Portmans. And here's her limited edition prints for sale on etsy.

Geordie Wood hand painted
I found these lovely graphic photos on Oh Joy! The description said "hand painted photos" by Geordie Wood. I was thinking.. hand painted photos?? Like how they used to hand-colour black and white photos in the 1900s with colour tints?
For those as clueless as I am, the answer might be a little too simple! Geordie basically printed the photos (which were already looking great) and painted them by hand. No antiquated, fancy tinting techniques here, just a simple but great idea of adding a splash of polka dots in the background. Sweet!

Check out Geordie Wood's portfolio, especially the Broken Things section. Gives me chills, I like!
Frieda Sophie
Frieda Sophie on Etsy. Here's some of my favourite pieces. Gorgeous colours and cut-outs. She somehow manages to get her stones to work really well with the golds. By the way, she's having sales right now, so go get yourself some!

Belathée Photography
Chanced upon Belathée wedding photos on Design*Sponge (I think) sometime back. It's nice how all the shots are oozing with spontaneity and warmth. I think one of their client testimonial sums it all up nicely: "We loved their natural sense of knowing what moments were important to us".
I also noticed that the brides in these pictures seem more engrossed in the bliss of their wedding day than how they look. I think that's really cool. In fact I think all brides are beautiful on their big day, so there's no need for glamour shots really.
